Antiseptics and disinfectants play an important role in preventing hospital acquired infection and in adequate patient care. We asked for the enquete to know what antiseptics are used in wards. The enquete included the kinds of antiseptics, concentration, dilution method and so on. As a result, we discovered that there was a many difference in using the antiseptics among wards. Therefore, this study is aimed to correct the misusage of antiseptics and to provide the standard of usage, characteristics and side effects of it. These knowledges are essential to select the antiseptics to protect patients and workers. And, they will make it possible that pharmacists can expand their careers and do more advanced tasks.
